On a mission to help you have a more empowered entrance into motherhood.

About

Meet Dr Shipley

Amanda Shipley, PT, DPT, MTC is a pelvic physical therapist in Atlanta, GA with more than 18 years of experience helping patients prevent and heal pelvic floor issues. Her mission is to change the standard of care so that pelvic physical therapy is a part of a standard wellness strategy, like going to the dentist. Dr. Shipley believes in a holistic approach and focuses on treating the whole person and not just their symptoms. After having two unmedicated homebirths Dr. Shipley is especially passionate about helping birthing people have as smooth a childbirth as possible. She believes that everyone would benefit from seeing a pelvic physical therapist during pregnancy. Dr. Shipley sees patients at her practice, Renew Pelvic Health, and is also the creator and host of the podcast Kumbay'all: The Whole Woman's Resource.

Meet Rebecca

In addition to being Amanda’s ‘little’ sister (they’re identical twins, so she’s only 5 minutes younger), Rebecca is a homebirth mom who’s spent her career working in or supporting healthcare practices. She’s passionate about education and personal growth, and has been inspired to help others through her own journey to motherhood.

Rebecca loves being the ‘behind-the-scenes’ support but enjoys co-hosting the Kumbay’all podcast with Amanda.
